As the newest addition to SmartSens’ CS Series, the SC501CS has built-in one-time programmable memory OTP, which can significantly optimize the cost structure of customer modules without adding additional EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable read-only memory) when performing data burn-in.The sensor is built on SmartClarity-2® technology and equipped with SmartSens’ innovative SFCPixel® proprietary technology, with a sensitivity of up to 769 mV/lux·s, which effectively improves the sensitivity in low-light environments. The SC501CS also features a low power consumption of only 100mW by the advantage of SmartSens’ low power circuit design, reducing the smartphone system power consumption. SmartSens Releases New 5MP CMOS image Sensor SC501CS for Mobile Phone Cameras

SmartSens today announced the SC1346, the latest addition to its DSI-2 technology CMOS image sensor series for smart cameras. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1642675420697756914.png"/></div>The 1MP SC1346 features a 2.65μm pixel size and comes in a 29-Pin CSP package. Built on DSI-2 technology and SFCPixel® technology, the sensor enables sensitivity of 6143mV/lux·s, which produces a 42 percent improvement compared to the predecessor along with a 27% increase in QE. SmartSens Expands DSI-2 Technology CMOS Image Sensor Series for Smart Cameras

SmartSens today announced the SC031AP and SC101AP—two CMOS image sensors integrating ISP and TX interface for automotive camera applications. ­­­<div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1639624295843184393.jpg"/></div>Both products use on-chip ISP for YUV422 output. Besides, data saved in the EEPROM will load automatically to each product upon powering up. Additional features include upgraded DSI-2 technology, SFCPixel® technology and <a name="OLE_LINK3">low noise reading circuit design</a>. Therefore, the SC101AP improves QE by 31%, sensitivity by 53% and FWC by 29% in comparison with the predecessor. Furthermore, the SC031AP and SC101AP reduce Crosstalk by 18% and 13%; the SC013AP and SC101AP also lower power consumption by 26mW and 17mW respectively compared with the previous generation. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img id="" title="" alt="" loop="" autoplay="" controls="" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1664268731777889517.png"/></div>Both are now available for sampling. SmartSens Releases Two CMOS Image Sensors with Integrated ISP and TX Interface for Automotive Cameras

SmartSens today announced the SC830AI, an 8MP CMOS image sensor with a 1.5µm pixel size and a 1/2.7” optical format to enable 4K video performance for security camera applications. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1636940509778073640.jpg"/></div>The SC830AI is the latest addition to SmartSens’ Advanced Imaging (AI) Series, using performance upgrade technology SmartClarity®-2. Benefited from a BSI pixel structure and PixGain technology, the SC830AI brings a 30 percent improvement in FWC compared to the previous generation and a 1.4dB enhancement in Max SNR. The sensor also features reduced crosstalk which produces boosted Chroma. Furthermore, the SC830AI delivers 100dB dynamic range in Staggered HDR mode. Additionally, enhanced high temperature performance is built into the SC830AI to reduce dark current and white pixel by 30% and 27% respectively in comparison with its predecessor. SmartSens Announces 1/2.7-Inch 8MP CMOS Image Sensor to Provide 4K Video Performance for Security Cameras

SmartSens today launched the SC400AI, SC401AI and SC4336 —three 1/3 inch, 4MP CMOS image sensors aiming at security camera applications. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1635127802016389638.png"/></div>Both the SC400AI and SC401AI use SmartSens’ SFCPixel® technology to deliver full-color night vision and PixGain technology to maintain image quality during day and night. Furthermore, the SC400AI offers a frame rate of 60fps and supports Staggered HDR with video recording at 30fps. Besides, both sensors increase FWC by 48.6% and dynamic range by 3dB, along with 42 percent improvement in QE at 520nm compared to their predecessor. Benefiting from DSI-2 technology, the SC4336 could also produce enhanced QE and FWC. Additionally, all three sensors are pin2pin compatible among themselves and with the SC2336 and SC3336. SmartSens Launches Three Upgraded Version CMOS Image Sensors for Security Cameras with 4MP Resolution

SmartSens today announced the 2/3-inch, 3MP SC350HGS, 1-inch, 6MP SC650HGS and 1.1-inch, 9MP SC950HGS—three monochrome CMOS image sensors with SmartGS®-2 technology targeting at industrial machine vision applications. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1632463979775758856.png"/></div>Each SmartGS®-2 technology sensor uses a BSI pixel structure which provides improved sensitivity and image quality as well as a global shutter function, which enables the capturing of fast-moving objects without distortion. Compared to the previous generation technology, every product in this lineup offers a double shutter speed and extends the dynamic range by 8dB. Besides, the SC350HGS with a 4.2µm pixel size allows industrial customers to shoot at 75fps in 1:1 imager mode. Furthermore, all three sensors achieve 90% QE at 520nm. SmartSens Announces Three CMOS Image Sensors with SmartGS®-2 Technology for Industrial Cameras

SmartSens today released the 1/3-inch, 2MP SC2336 and 1/2.8 inch, 3MP SC3336—two performance upgrade CMOS image sensors with DSI-2 technology, aiming at surveillance and automotive camera applications.<div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1631238015888229365.png"/></div>The two products both use SmartSens’ DSI-2 technology to provide improved low light performance. Take the SC2336, for example—it increases sensitivity by 46.2% compared to the previous generation. Additional features include SFCPixel® technology, low noise reading circuit design, boosted Chroma and reduced Blooming. Therefore, the SC2336 and SC3336 can deliver enhanced full-color night vision. Benefiting from SmartSens’ PixGain technology, the SC3336 supports high Gain and Low Gain to adjust to light changes between day and night. SmartSens today launched the SC1600CS, a 16MP CMOS image sensor with a 1.0 µm pixel size that enables 16MP resolution in a 1/3.06” optical format, targeting at front-facing cellphone camera applications. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1630574532439106292.png"/></div>The SC1600CS offers 16MP resolution with the smallest pixel size in SmartSens’ products at 1.0 µm. SmartSens Launches 1.0 μm Pixel, 16MP CMOS Image Sensor with QCell Technology for Mobile Phone Front Facing Cameras

SmartSens today announced the SC1336, a 1/3-inch 1MP-resolution CMOS image sensor for automotive applications, such as front-view cameras and surround view systems. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1629170600075639560.jpg"/></div>The new product uses SmartSens’ DSI-2 imaging technology, which delivers sensitivity of 12448 mV/lux·s, resulting in full-color night vision. SmartSens Releases Upgraded Version CMOS Image Sensor for Automotive Cameras with DSI-2 Imaging Technology

SmartSens today launched the SC301IoT, a new 3MP image sensor in IoT Series for always-on IoT applications. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1628049931238921342.png"/></div>The SC301IoT provides 2048 x 1536 resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio and boosts the sensitivity by 16% in comparison with its predecessors through implementing proprietary SFCPixel® technology. Additionally, it brings 0.9e- RN and 0.3e- FPN with full-color night vision. The SC301IoT utilizes SmartSens’ PixGain technology to improve the FWC by 124% and dynamic range by 5 dB compared to the previous generations of the product. It also supports up to 100dB Staggered HDR and reduces Blooming to 15%. The SC301IoT’s always-on feature includes fast wake-up as well as low power consumption. Tests find that the SC301IoT can go from powered off to fully functional within 60 ms due to SmartSens’ SmartAEC technology. SmartSens Launches 3MP SC301IoT in IoT Series

SmartSens today released the SC850SL, a 4K-resolution image sensor in a new Star Light (SL) Series product lineup for high-end night vision cameras. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1626414903504109967.png"/></div>The 8MP SC850SL features stack BSI and rolling shutter process and therefore offers 15% sensitivity over its type on the market. Also, compared with similar products in the industry, the SC850SL leverages SmartSens’ ultra-low noise reading circuit design to reduce the RN and FPN by 69% and 59% respectively. Hence, the SC850SL brings vibrant full-color night vision. Additionally, with SmartSens’ 2nd Gen NIR+ Technology, the QE of the SC850SL is boosted up by 55% at 850 nm and 80% at 940 nm in comparison with the previous generation NIR+ technology, respectively. Furthermore, the sensor supports both the Staggered HDR with up to 100 dB dynamic range and PixGain HDR® without HDR combination artifacts. SmartSens Releases SC850SL in Star Light Series to Provide 4K Full-Color Night Vision Video Performance 

SmartSens today launched the SC201CS, a new 2MP CMOS image sensor in the Cellphone Sensor (CS) Series product lineup that will enable high-quality smartphone cameras. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1625450697578129495.jpg"/></div>The SC201CS comes in a 1/5.1-inch optical format at a pixel size of 1.75 <a name="_Hlk76052596">μm</a>, designed in two versions—SC201CS-mono and SC201-color and results in more choices for customers. The SC201CS allows mobile phones to capture improved scenes at night with the FPN and the read noise as low as 0.43e- rms and 1.5e- rms respectively.
