SmartSens Releases New 5MP CMOS image Sensor SC501CS for Mobile Phone Cameras
2022-4-6
Recently, SmartSens, a technologically advanced CMOS image sensor supplier, officially launched the Cellphone Sensor (CS) Series mobile phone application image sensor product―SC501CS, bringing a better imaging experience to customers in the smartphone field.
With 5MP and an optical size of 1.12μm*1.12μm, the SC501CS is available in both RW/COB packages to provide customers with more choices. As the newest addition to SmartSens’ CS Series, the SC501CS has built-in one-time programmable memory OTP, which can significantly optimize the cost structure of customer modules without adding additional EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable read-only memory) when performing data burn-in.
The sensor is built on SmartClarity-2® technology and equipped with SmartSens’ innovative SFCPixel® proprietary technology, with a sensitivity of up to 769 mV/lux·s, which effectively improves the sensitivity in low-light environments. The SC501CS also features a low power consumption of only 100mW by the advantage of SmartSens’ low power circuit design, reducing the smartphone system power consumption. Additionally, thanks to SmartSens’ low noise reading circuit design and upgraded color technology, the SC501CS offers low read noise and FPN of 1.4e- and 0.18e- respectively, which can bring excellent night photography imaging.
Currently, SC501CS has achieved mass production. For more information, please contact cs@smartsenstech.com.
