Incorporating a large 3μm pixel size, all three sensors achieve up to 90% peak quantum efficiency (QE) in the visible light wavelength along with high sensitivity in the NIR wavelength. For example, SC038HGS achieves a peak QE of 20.3% at the 940nm wavelength, fully meeting the demands of NIR-based visual perception. With HDR dynamic ranges reaching 93dB and 92.65dB respectively, these sensors capture images with balanced brightness and clarity in high-contrast environments. This technology minimizes overexposure and shadow detail loss, providing intelligent robots with precise visual information for robotic operations. <ul><li>High PLS and Frame Rate</li></ul>In strong illumination, motion blur can easily occur during the recognition of moving objects. SC038HGS, SC133HGS, and SC233HGS leverage ultra-high parasitic light sensitivity (PLS &gt;40,000) to effectively minimize lens flare artifacts when capturing moving objects in bright environments for various robot types. Furthermore, SC038HGS, SC133HGS, and SC233HGS support an ultra-high frame rate of up to 120fps. SmartSens SmartGS™-2 Plus Series CMOS Image Sensors Empower Intelligent Robot Vision Systems

SmartSens today released the SC850SL, a 4K-resolution image sensor in a new Star Light (SL) Series product lineup for high-end night vision cameras. <div class="media-wrap image-wrap"><img class="media-wrap image-wrap" src="https://smartsens.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/web/img/1626414903504109967.png"/></div>The 8MP SC850SL features stack BSI and rolling shutter process and therefore offers 15% sensitivity over its type on the market. Also, compared with similar products in the industry, the SC850SL leverages SmartSens’ ultra-low noise reading circuit design to reduce the RN and FPN by 69% and 59% respectively. Hence, the SC850SL brings vibrant full-color night vision. Additionally, with SmartSens’ 2nd Gen NIR+ Technology, the QE of the SC850SL is boosted up by 55% at 850 nm and 80% at 940 nm in comparison with the previous generation NIR+ technology, respectively. Furthermore, the sensor supports both the Staggered HDR with up to 100 dB dynamic range and PixGain HDR® without HDR combination artifacts.
